A man has been left fighting for his life after a coast road crash on Saturday afternoon.
As previously reported on Monday, a man in his 30s was involved in a single vehicle collision along the B3157 Coast Road and was initially said to have suffered “potentially life changing injuries.”
The motorcyclist, from the local area, was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital where, following a condition update, his injuries are now believed to be ‘life threatening’.
Police received reports of the crash, involving a green Kawasaki ZX, at 2.22pm on May 7th and officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Police Constable Craig Jeffery, of the traffic unit, said: : “We are carrying out a full investigation into the circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please get in touch.
“I would also ask that anyone who was travelling along the B3157 Coast Road around the time of the collision to please check any dashcam footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
