VISITORS to a Dorset county park will be able to lie down in a four poster bed and enjoy magical tales and songs for one weekend only.
Moors Valley Country Park will welcome the family focused art installation, FOREstory - which allows families to lie down in one of three large, four poster beds, gaze up and enjoy stories from the forest.
Each bed has a different sound adventure to share including magical folklore tales, woodland songs, and the story of the amazing underground network that helps the trees talk to eachother.
The attraction will be at the park on Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15 and will be located on the Play Trail. It will be open from 10am-4pm on both days.
Also in store is a brand-new Gruffalo sculpture for the Play Trail and an opportunity to enjoy tales of mini beasts on the Superworm Trail.
Melanie Keddie, marketing manager for Forestry England, South District, said: “Forests are magical places full of diverse soundscapes created by nature. FOREstory is a really unique way for families to experience and immerse themselves in these wonderful stories and discover more about what makes Moors Valley such a special place.”
