A writer will be giving a talk about the true stories she has uncovered behind postcards sent in the early years of the 20th century.
Helen Baggott, freelance writer and editor, will be talking to the Dorchester Townswomen’s Guild on Monday, April 4 at 2pm at Dorchester Community Church, Liscombe Street, Poundbury.
In this particular talk Helen will be discussing how these messages were sent using the first real social medium phenomenon of the 20th century and how she wrote about them in her books Posted in the Past and Posted in the Past Second Delivery.
Visitors are very welcome to attend for a small fee of £2.50.
Tea and Coffee will also be available.
