Members of Charminster Women’s Institute have planted more than 1,000 snowdrops to honour the Queen in her Platinum Jubilee year.
The bulbs were planted in four areas of the village's St Mary’s Church grounds.
All the snowdrops were donated by WI members and have been planted close to several paths crossing the grounds.
Charminster WI meets every second Tuesday evening in the village. They enjoy speakers, activities, outings and welcome visitors and potential new members.
They are holding an Easter Craft Coffee morning from 10.30am to 12 noon on Saturday, April 9 in Charminster Community Hall next to the school (admission is free) with home-made cakes and the chance to try out Easter crafts. Everyone is welcome.
