A popular south west band will capture a Lyme audience with their infectious songs.
Mad Dog Mcrea will play a gig at the Marine Theatre on Saturday, April 2.
The band blends a unique mixture of folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz, and bluegrass. From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life, to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies – Mad Dog never fail to delight the audience.
The group's acclaimed album, The Whirling Dervish, championed by Mike Harding on Radio 2, has become an underground classic, winning the best album of the year 2012 at The South West Music Awards.
Tickets cost £17.50 in advance, £22 on the door and there is a 10 per cent discount for members. See www.marinetheatre.com
The bar opens at 7pm and the music starts at 8pm.
