POLICE are appealing to the public after a mini digger was stolen by thieves from a secured barn.
Dorset Police said the incident reportedly took place sometime between Monday (March 14) and the following day.
A spokeswoman from Dorset Police said: "A Yanmar B08 mini digger-excavator valued at over £10,000 has been stolen from a secured barn in Bishops Caundle. near Sherborne.
"Thieves removed bars from a door to gain entry before stealing the mini digger.
"This theft occurred between 4pm on Monday, March 14 and 9am Tuesday, March 15.
"If you were driving through Bishops Caundle or the surrounding areas and observed a mini digger on a trailer, Dorset Police would welcome any dashcam footage your vehicle equipment may have recorded."
