RESIDENTS, community and voluntary groups, and local charities are being encouraged to attend the Weymouth Community Expo this spring.
The ‘twist on the annual town meeting’ is being hosted by Weymouth Town Council and will showcase Weymouth and what people love about the area and its community.
There will be around 30 stands detailing various groups to join and volunteering opportunities.

In addition, there will be free children’s activities and a prize draw for people to name what they love most about Weymouth.
Cllr Colin Huckle, Mayor of Weymouth, will open the event. He said: “There will be plenty of opportunity to find out what makes Weymouth tick, and how you can play your part in celebrating and shaping our wonderful coastal town.”
The event will take place on Saturday April 23 at Redlands Community Sports Hub from 12-2.30pm.
