Members of Casterbridge Rotary Club will be in South Street, Dorchester on Saturday collecting funds to support the people of Ukraine.
Rotary's Dave Harris said he knows many people have already given money or physical items but would appreciate any extra support.
He added: "Casterbridge Rotary will be out in South Street Dorchester collecting funds to also support the people of Ukraine.
"So far more than 1.5m refugees have left Ukraine and entered many countries such as Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova.
"Rotary has volunteers at every border, 24 hour a day along with a network of Rotarians in Ukraine itself who are providing much needed assistance at first hand.
"All money collected will go towards supporting this much needed effort and the club would like to thank the people of Dorchester and the surrounding area in advance for their generosity."
People can also donate remotely by paying into the Rotary club of Dorchester Casterbridge Trust fund sort code 40:19:21 account 51236970.
