World Book Day 2022 is here.
Youngsters across Dorset will be dressing up for the occasion and we are looking forward to seeing some incredible costumes.
We think this Alice in Wonderland costume worn by Taylor Kitton at Atlantic Academy on Portland sets the bar extremely high.
World Book Day is celebrating 25 years this year and its mission is to promote reading for pleasure and offer every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own.
It's always popular in schools - particularly primary schools - and often your school will encourage the children simply to dress up as their favourite character.
In recent years there have been lots of Gangsta Granny costumes, as well as the ever-popular Harry Potter, Spiderman and other Marvel characters.
We'll be publishing pictures of your children's dressed up in their costumes in the Dorset Echo - send them to us using this quick and easy online form below.
Get your pictures in fast, we can't wait to see them!
