A ROAD has been closed after a car crashed into a wall.

A portion of the A30 in Sherborne is closed this afternoon from Marston Road to Acreman Streeton on Kit Hill due to an 'unstable wall' following a crash.

A spokesman for Travel Dorset said: "The A30 in Sherborne is anticipated to be closed from 4pm due to an unstable wall following an RTC.

"We will update with further information when received."

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "It was reported that a vehicle collided with a wall this morning and this afternoon a stretch of approximately 100m from Marston Road to Acreman Street has been closed due to damage to the wall."
