It’s just under two weeks until Valentine’s Day and if you’re sick of the heart shaped advertising then you may want to look away now.
Asda has again brought back its famous heart shaped pizza in time for Valentine’s Day. Whether you want to share it with a loved one or indulge on your own, you'll need to pick yours up soon!
The pizza will only be available to pick up in stores at pizza counters and online from February 1 until February 14
Nothing says ‘I love you’ like the gift of pizza, never mind one in the shape of a heart.
Perfect for a date night in, the pizza is included in Asda’s £6 Sky Movie Pizza Counter deal. This includes 2 medium pizzas, a drink and a Sky Movie or Vue voucher.
If you just want the pizza, you can pick it up for £3.20.
It is made with a thin and crispy base shaped into a love heart. You can choose a range of flavours from Cheese Meltdown, Veggie Supreme, Pepperoni Feast, Mighty Meat Feast or American Sizzler.
Both the Cheese Meltdown and Veggie Supreme options are suitable for vegetarians too.
Amber Pepper, Product Development Manager at Asda, said: “Our customers can’t get enough of the Heart Shaped pizza around Valentine’s Day, so we are bringing it back for another year. The stone-baked pizzas are the perfect option for couples and friends who want to celebrate and have an easy but tasty meal, leaving more time for romancing and having fun.”
If pizza’s not your thing, Asda has also introduced a new favourite to its Valentine’s range this year: the Love Dog.
The Love Dog is a chorizo sausage sub roll with pink pickled onions. The filling is topped with mayonnaise and chipotle chilli chutney.
The limited-edition sandwich costs £2.75 and is available in store from February 2 until the end of the month, offering foodies a tasty snack on the go or an indulgent treat to warm up at home.
