ORLANDO Bailey has been released from England's squad to face Scotland in their opening Six Nations game at Murrayfield this weekend.
Dorchester-born Bailey, 20, has reportedly suffered a hamstring injury, forcing his return to Premiership club Bath.
Bailey could still feature against Saracens this weekend before a possible return to the England squad.
The uncapped Bailey's absence coincides with a recall for in-form fly-half George Ford, who was initially left out of the 36-man squad by coach Eddie Jones.
Ford has been named as a replacement for the Calcutta Cup clash, following his recall to the side after Owen Farrell's ankle surgery.

It comes after Marcus Smith was this morning named as the starting number 10.
Tom Curry, 23, will captain the side in the absence of Farrell and Courtney Lawes, becoming the youngest England captain since Will Carling in 1988.
England are seeking revenge on Scotland after their 11-6 loss in the 2021 Six Nations.
