Every day without fail, First Wessex tweet a recruitment advert for drivers.
Almost every day, First Wessex apologise because some services are unable to run i.e. driver shortage.
Most users of their services have frustratingly experienced delays or total cancellations.
Within 2/3 months Weymouth & Portland will see an influx of visitors, visitors who will be keen to tour the area, many choosing to use local transport.
Weymouth & Portland are no different from any other area when it comes to the so-called “driver shortage”, so, how in heaven’s name can this be resolved when it is a national problem?
