A MAN who damaged a shop window in Weymouth town centre has been told to pay £801.
Samuel John Brueton, whose address was given as Juniper Close in Yeovil, appeared at Weymouth Magistrates Court on Thursday, January 28.
He was charged with committing criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge.
The charge related to an incident on August 28 last year when Brueton damaged the window of Natural Inspirations in St Mary Street.
As a result, the court ordered the defendant to pay £694 in compensation to cover the cost of the damaged window.
Brueton was also told to pay a £22 surcharge and costs of £85.
He was told to start paying his balance of £801 in £100 fortnightly installments commencing February 10.
