A missing elderly man who can become easily confused has returned home safe and well.
The police helicopter assisted in the search for Brian Purdie, aged 77, who was reported missing just after 5pm on Saturday, January 29.
Police say he left an address in Parkstone Road, Poole, on foot at 12.45pm.
Police later thanked people who helped in the search.
