Broken traffic lights are causing drivers a headache in the Preston area of Weymouth this morning.
Traffic queues are building on the A353 Preston Road in Weymouth due to broken four-way lights outside the Spice Ship pub.
One driver said there were delays as temporary traffic lights at roadworks are not working.
Wessex Water is carrying out works at Church Road today near the junction of Preston Road and Church Road, under 'give-and-take' lights.
The work involves the replacement of 4" pipe along Church road, with parking suspended under a temporary traffic revision order (TTRO.)
The work is expected to finish on February 18.
Further down Preston Road at Chalbury Corner, gas provider SGN is also carrying out emergency works until February 4, although according to the company this is unlikely to cause delays.
