A WEYMOUTH man has been banned from driving for more than three years after being caught behind the wheel at almost three times above the alcohol limit.
Sergio Daniel Janeiro, 39 and whose address was given as Dorchester Road, was charged with driving a vehicle above the legal limit for alcohol at Weymouth Magistrates Court on Thursday, January 13.
The charge related to an incident on November 27 where the defendant was stopped in Dorchester Road and found to have exceeded the legal limit by nearly almost three times.

The defendant entered a guilty plea and was subsequently ordered to complete 100 hours of community service in the next year, told to pay a £95 surcharge and costs of £40.
Janeiro was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 40 months.
