CHILDREN are to be allowed into a Weymouth town centre pub for the first time in 25 years from January.
The Swan pub in St Thomas Street, Weymouth, has always had a strict no-children policy.
But the rules will be changed at the Wetherspoon pub to allow children on the premises from Monday, January 3.
Children, accompanied by an adult, will be allowed in the pub until 9pm throughout the week.
The pub’s manager, Kim Newstead, said: “ Since the pub opened 25 years ago, it has operated a no-children policy.
“We are delighted that this is changing on January 3 and look forward to welcoming children into the pub, accompanied by an adult.”
