A TWO bedroom house up for auction sold for less than £100,000.
A two-bedroom property based in Greenhill Terrace in the Fortuneswell area of Portland was put up for auction for a guide price of just £85,000.
Marketed by auctioneer Symonds and Sampson, it is described as an ‘unique spacious’ property that ‘would make an ideal holiday home’.
Photos show the former workshop has already been modernised and appears to require no major refurbishment.
The former workshop has an open plan living area with a sitting room, dining room with steps leading to recently refurbished fitted kitchen with a range of wall and floor cupboards, eye level double electric oven and ceramic hob with extractor hood over it.
There are two double bedrooms and a modern bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet, pedestal wash hand basin and airing cupboard.
The property was up for auction on Thursday (December 9) and despite some initial interest, the property sold for £85,000.
