A MAN has been taken to hospital following a collision on a key Dorset route in the early hours of the morning, as officers appeal for information.
Dorset Police confirmed they received a report at 1.10am on Friday December 10 of a single vehicle collision involving a silver Peugeot 206 on the A354 between Thornicombe and Winterborne Whitechurch.
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 20s from Ringwood in Hampshire, was taken to hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police constable Kier Dagnall, of north Dorset police, said: “I am appealing to any motorists who witnessed the collision to please contact Dorset Police.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who saw the manner of driving of the vehicle leading up to the incident.
“Finally, if you have captured anything of relevance to my investigation on dashcam footage, please get in touch.”
