As Storm Barra hits Dorset, several areas have been left without power.
A yellow weather warning is in place for the duration of Tuesday and into Wednesday as Storm Barra arrives from the west.
And the wild weather is already having an impact on homes in the area including several power outages.
We’re prepared for the high winds forecast today, as gusts in excess over 65mph are forecast across central southern England. Our engineers and support staff are ready for any issues this adverse weather might bring.

“Gusts of 45-50 mph are expected widely, with 60-70 mph in exposed coastal locations. The strongest winds will ease across inland areas into the overnight period.
