A MAN who travelled from London to a Dorset beauty spot during lockdown has been fined.
Robert Ryszard Talaga, aged 39, travelled from Paddock Road, London, a Tier 4 area, to Durdle Door on January 15 this year.
He was found to be at Durdle Door car park without reasonable excuse, breaking the Government coronavirus restrictions in place at the time.
Talaga did not attend when the case was heard at Weymouth Magistrates Court on December 1.
He was fined £1,100, and must pay a victim surcharge of £110, plus costs of £90.
