Jon Pickard to play harp guitar at Weymouth concert

It features Jon Pickard, playing both a guitar and an unusual instrument, the harp-guitar, at Weymouth Bay Methodist Church from 3pm.

Jon first played the harp-guitar live on stage at Wembley Arena after owning it for only three weeks. He has studied with some of the finest guitar teachers in the world, including celebrated concert guitarists John Mills and Xuefei Yang

The 23 string harp-guitar played in this concert was designed by Jon himself and built by London based luthier and master crafsman Stuart Mewburn, who also built Jon's concert flamenco guitar.

The programme will feature a mix of arrangements of classical and traditional pieces, along with some of Jon’s compositions.
