PARKED cars in a residential area have had their fuel stolen or fuel lines 'tampered with' in recent weeks.
An investigation has been launched into a number of alleged vehicle crimes in the Filbridge Rise area of Sturminster Newton.
North Dorset Police say that three vehicles have had their fuel lines tampered with and fuel was stolen over the last three weeks.
Enquires into the reported incidents are ongoing according to police as officers urge any witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
A spokesman for North Dorset Police said: "Over the last three weeks, three vehicles have had their fuel lines tampered with and fuel stolen in the Filbridge Rise area of the town.
