EMERGENCY services joined forces to rescue a woman stuck in treacherous terrain on Weymouth's coastline.
Coastguard teams and the fire service were called to The Fleet, Weymouth yesterday evening after dusk to rescue the woman.
A spokesman for Wyke Regis Coastguard Rescue Team said: "We were tasked along with Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue Team at 5.31pm to assist Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service with a casualty stuck on steep ground above Pirates Cove.
"A path was cut through heavy vegetation down to the foreshore where the female was walked back to safety.
"After a debrief all units returned to base."
