Squid Game is the Korean thriller that became an instant cult classic and one of Netflix's biggest ever hits.
The twisted nine-part series has taken the world by storm with fans desperate to dress up as different Squid Game characters for Halloween.
And now that's fans have binge-watched the series several times and have got themselves one of those iconic green tracksuits, they're begging for a series two.
Will there be a season 2 of Squid Game?
Fans of the hit dystopian series will know that a new series was looking unlikely- until recently.
When the show dropped, it was revealed that the series' director Hwang Dong-hyuk was not in a hurry to make a second season.
Dong-hyuk actually first started writing the series back in 2008.
Speaking to Variety, he said: "I don’t have well-developed plans for Squid Game 2.
"It is quite tiring just thinking about it.
"But if I were to do it, I would certainly not do it alone.
"I’d consider using a writers’ room and would want multiple experienced directors."
But according to The Guardian, that is exactly what might be happening.
Hwang Dong-hyuk is currently in talks with Netflix's big decision-makers.
Dong-hyuk said: "Of course there is talk,"
"That's inevitable because it's been such a success.
"I am considering it. I have a very high-level picture in my mind, but I'm not going to work on it straight away."
As of yet, we don't know if it will be a red light or green light for season two but the possibilities have left fans reeling.
