SCHOOLS are invited to participate in a new survey exploring the role and value of physical education in alternative provision schools.
Active Dorset, an organisation working to increase the number of people becoming more physically active in the county, has launched a survey in partnership with Leeds Beckett University to gain an insight into the value of sport for children and young people for children who do not go to mainstream schools.
A spokesman for Active Dorset said: "Results from this research will be disseminated through various events that will enable practitioners to make research informed decisions to support their practice and the provision of PE and sport in alternative provision schools."
The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete and closes on Friday, October 22. All the results are anonymous and will only be seen by the research team.
