A GOOSE was reportedly a hazard on a major Dorset road this morning.
Dorset Police received a report of a goose on the A35 near to the Puddletown turn-off at 8.12am this morning causing a potential hazard to motorists.
Officers went to the scene and, at 8.36am, confirmed that the goose was no longer on the road.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 8.12am of a goose on the carriageway of the A35 near to the Puddletown turn off, causing a potential hazard.
"Officers attended and it was confirmed at 8.36am that the goose was no longer on the road. Officers have now left the scene."
