A COMMUNITY campaign against litter is inviting the public to a free online webinar.

Litter Free Dorset is inviting everyone to join them and a panel of experts to #TalkingRubbish between 10am and 12pm on Wednesday, October 13.

The online webinar includes presentations and Q&A sessions exploring behaviour change campaigns, drone technology, social media/marketing tools for environmental campaigns and where Dorset’s waste goes.

The line up of speakers include: Livvy Drake, who will be discussing the psychology behind littering and littering communication; Sam Longworth, who will be discussing the use of drone technology and machine learning to tackle litter; Martin Gregory, from Dorset Council Waste Services, who will be talking about household waste; and where it all goes and Katrina Ryan, who will be talking about how to build campaigns for conservation on social media.

A spokesman for Litter Free Dorset said: "This is THE event for anyone interested in the behind the scenes work of organisations like Litter Free Dorset whose aim is to change littering behaviour and improve the local environment for the benefit of everyone and all forms of wildlife."
