BALTI Sports and Blandford United will meet in the first round of the Dorset Senior Trophy tomorrow (2.30pm).
The two sides have already faced each other in the league at Weymouth College this season, Blandford coming out on top 3-2 on the opening day back in August.
While home boss Marco Nott is keen for a good run, he steered clear of making predictions given Balti’s poor recent record in cup games.
He told Echosport: “They beat us first game, which wasn’t ideal. They’re a strong, solid club on the up. They want to push forward, which is good to see.
“We lost once so we’re hoping to put that right, gain revenge and hopefully progress.
“I curse myself year in year out, the cup doesn’t go well for us, so let’s try and treat it like a league game and we might have more of a chance!”

Nott’s counterpart, Josh Feirn, is looking to carry forward the momentum from the Royals’ run to the final last season.
He said: “It’s one we’re looking at to try and progress again. We’ve set the bar high with reaching the final last year.
“We all want to get there again because it was a great evening bar the result but wouldn’t say it’s the end of the world if we didn’t get there.”
Balti welcome back midfielders Sammy Nichols, Ethan Devaney, Sean Zima and Jamie Rawlings.
Blandford are without Elliot Manson and Mike Johnson (both hamstring), while Sam Watson (ankle) is doubtful.
