INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into a crash which saw a motorcyclist airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency services responded to a collision between a red Seat Ibiza and a white Yamaha motorcycle on the B3157 Coast Road, near to the turning to Grove Lane between Portesham and Chickerell, at 10.34am on Friday, September 24.
The motorcyclist – a man aged in his 40s from Weymouth – was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Seat was uninjured.
Nearly one week after the collision, a spokeswoman for Dorset Police confirmed that investigations into the crash are ongoing.
She said: "There is no update on the injuries sustained and there have been no arrests made.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision remain ongoing."
Officers are looking for anyone driving in the area or with dashcam footage at the time of the crash to come forward.
