THE best regions for wildlife have been named - with the south west of England making it into the top seven.
Flower experts at Flowercard have assessed each region's wildlife areas across the UK, which included the study of the number of nature and park attractions, quality of green spaces and parks, pollution index and air quality levels - providing an overall wildlife-friendly score.

Ranking seventh in the study is the south west, achieving a wildlife-friendly score of 4.29 out of 10.
Scotland topped the list as the UK's friendliest region for wildlife with a score of 5.73 out of 10, with the east of England finishing second with a score of 4.72 - and Wales finishing third with a score 4.66.
