FOUR-legged friends and their owners are invited to take part in a charity fun run.
Dorset disabilities charity Diverse Abilities is holding Paws on the Shores, a five kilometre route along the beach where dog owners are invited to run, jog or walk all to raise money for a good cause.
The charity, which supports children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities across Dorset, was due to hold the event for the first time last year but had to cancel it due to the pandemic.
Now, charity bosses are excited to hold the first ever Paws on the Shore event which will take place at Shore Road, Poole, on October 3.
There will be a competition on the day for the best dressed dog and its owners will receive an afternoon tea for two at Knoll House Hotel in Studland.
Karen Hay, events manager at Diverse Abilities, said: "This event is a great excuse to get out and about and enjoy the delights of the coast on our doorstep."
