Rail passengers on the Weymouth-Waterloo line are facing disruption today and tomorrow due to engineering works.

Lines in the Wareham area are closed all weekend for maintenance work.

Hourly buses are running between Weymouth station and Wareham where trains towards Bournemouth, Southampton and London can be picked up.

Additional train services operating hourly will run between Weymouth and Dorchester South with buses then taking passengers to Wareham.

London Waterloo to Weymouth services will terminate at Wareham.

The work does not affect Great Western Railway services from Weymouth to Dorchester West, Yeovil and Bristol.
