EMMA Raducanu was not the only young British player to reach an international tennis final from qualifying last week.
Weymouth's Millen Hurrion made the final of the ITF $25,000 event in Bagneres-de-Bigorre in the French Pyrenees.
Hurrion beat fourth seed Sebastien Faneslow from Germany 2-1 in sets in the first round and beat three French players on his way to the final.
However, third seed Antoine Escoffier defeated the Dorset man 7-6 (7-4) 6-0 in the final.
Hurrion was then invited back to Weymouth by A team captain, and Millen's old Budmouth College teacher, Mr Henman to team up with his first coach Julien Lawes in the final of the Yeovil and District Cup.
Hurrion helped the team, which also included Rory Dale and Cliff Mortem, secure a 7-4 win against last year's champions Trull from Taunton.
