POLICE have confirmed no arrests have still been made in relation to a reported rape in a Dorchester alleyway despite extensive enquiries - but said they will continue to thoroughly investigate any new leads.
The reported attack took place on Friday, August 13, leaving the community in shock.
Cordons were put in place at South Street Passage after Dorset Police received a report that a woman in her 30s was raped.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "Officers have carried out extensive enquiries in relation to this incident and we will continue to thoroughly investigate any new lines of enquiry that emerge. No arrests have been made at this time."
Police previously said a full investigation is under way, with CCTV being trawled, but have asked anyone who may have information to come forward.
