A MOTORIST has been banned from driving for three weeks after he was caught speeding over more than 100mph on a busy Dorset route.
Jack Samuel Martin, aged 31, was behind the wheel of a Mercedes on the A35 at Troytown (Puddletown Bypass) near Dorchester on Friday, October 23, 2020.
Speed cameras clocked Martin travelling at 108.22mph. The speed limit of the road is 70mph.
Martin, of Elliot Rise in Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of speeding via single justice procedure at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court.
Martin was given a 21-day disqualification from driving.
He was also ordered to pay a £566 fine, court costs of £110 and £57 victim surcharge.
