An 'intoxicated' man who fell over and suffered a head injury at Weymouth Railway Station was taken to hospital.
The man suffered an injury yesterday and Weymouth & Portland Police officers assisted colleagues from British Transport Police and South Western Railway staff in the incident.
A spokesman for the local neighbourhood team said: "Officers on summer patrols have been assisting colleagues with an intoxicated male at Weymouth Railway Station. The male had fallen and injured his head so was taken by officers to hospital for treatment."

There was a heightened police presence at the railway station earlier this week as part of an operation aimed at disrupting the activities of suspected county lines drugs networks.
