Battle of Britain: Service to be held in Weymouth - when and where
A SERVICE will be held in Weymouth to mark the 81st anniversary of the Battle of Britain and the 103rd anniversary of the RAF.
It will take place at Bowleaze Cove, Preston at 3pm on Wednesday, September 15.
Last year a Battle of Britain memorial was unveiled at Bowleaze Cove.

The project was the passion of Weymouth resident Rob Oliver, who spent the past 25 years helping ex-RAF veterans from 152 (Hyderabad) Squadron who served at RAF Warmwell during the Battle of Britain.
After the service, guests are invited back to the RAFA Wings Club for refreshments. All are welcome.
