POLICE in Weymouth were called to a swan blocking a main road in what's been likened to a scene from comedy film 'Hot Fuzz.'
According to the force the bird was 'swanning' around near Westham Bridge.
A spokesman for Weymouth & Portland Police said: "The first job of the day for the Neighbourhood Team was attending multiple reports of a swan walking in the road near to Westham Bridge.
"The swan had made its way off the road and back into the water on police arrival ... Hot Fuzz!"
