A MAJOR route in Dorset will experience delays for several days due to roadworks.
The A37 near Holywell will have traffic calming measures in place as KN Circet can safely access the underground network to install new ultrafast full fibre broadband project in the area.
As a result, a lane closure and temporary traffic lights will be in place between Thursday, August 19 and Wednesday, August 25.
The roadworks are expected to cause slow traffic in the area.
An Openreach spokeswoman said: “We’ve requested traffic management on this section of the A37 so that our partners, KN Circet, can safely access our underground network to undertake preliminary work for a new, ultrafast Full Fibre broadband project in the area.
"The permit is in place between 7am and 7pm each day. We’d advise drivers to plan ahead and leave some extra time for their journey, and thank them for their understanding.”
