ONLY one area of Dorset has no active coronavirus cases as Covid-19 cases continue to rise across the county.
Public Health England breaks down the numbers of Covid-19 cases into neighbourhoods called 'Middle Super Output Areas' (MSOAs), which are smaller than council wards and based on population rather than geographical area.
Government and Public Health England define a coronavirus cluster as an area where there are more than two coronavirus cases in a population size of 7,500 at any one time.
The interactive map, which can be found online, allows users to type in their postcode and see how many cases were reported in their area and if it has increased or decreased from the week before.
The darker the colour on the image, the more positive test results have been recorded.
Some areas are coloured white and described as "suppressed", meaning MSOA level rates are suppressed and there have been zero to two cases in a seven-day period. This also protects the privacy of individuals and prevents disclosure.
In the seven days up to Saturday, July 10, Underhill & The Grove on Portland is the only area of Dorset without active coronavirus clusters, or under three cases.
In the week before, there were six confirmed coronavirus cases in Underhill & The Grove.
In comparison, the neighbouring Southwell & Weston has reported three active cases in the seven days up to July 10.
Looking broadly across the South West, only Chard West in Somerset, Great Torrington in Devon, Gunnislake and Calstock in Cornwall, have also reported no coronavirus cases.
Coronavirus cases across Dorset continue to increase, with 1,560 Covid-19 cases reported in the seven days up to July 10. Dorset Council area has reported 581 cases while BCP Council area reported 979 cases.
