Sir Richard Branson's formidable Scarlet Lady cruiser was seen moored off Weymouth Bay today.

The Scarlet Scarlet Lady cruise ship is a first for Virgin Voyages, a new cruise line brand.

The ship originally made an appearance at Southampton in February 2020, before heading on to its homeport in Florida.

It was meant to set sail last year but due to coronavirus cruises were stopped across the world.

The Scarlet Lady has enough electricity onboard to power a small US city and its cable length is nearly two times the length of the Atlantic Ocean, it also has eight restaurants onboard such as Crab Shack, Gelato, Crown Grill and Chef’s Table Lumiere.

Entertainment onboard includes a Vegas style casino, shops, art gallery and auctions, a sports court, live performances, a club, music and a photography studio.
