NEW electric vehicle chargepoints will be installed in Dorset and you can have a say in where you want them.
Dorset Council is asking for feedback from members of the public on where they most want electric vehicle chargepoints to be installed.
Since December, the council has completed the first stage of chargpoint installations with 26 chargepoints in 12 locations, including Swannery Car Park and Melcombe Regis Car Park, and is looking for funding to put chargepoints in Lodmoor carpark in Weymouth, as well as other sites.
A spokesman for Dorset Council said: "With phase 1 coming to an end, we’re starting to look at potential chargepoint locations for the next phases of installations. We need your help to find out where there is need and support for electric vehicle chargepoints, so we can bid for funding. Please complete the online form to give us your suggestions."
