THERE has been no recorded Covid-19 deaths across Dorset hospitals for almost two months, according to figures from NHS England.
The figures show there has not been a coronavirus-related death across the Dorset Council and BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole) areas for 57 days up to Tuesday, June 29.
At Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester, there have been 111 deaths - with the last record coronavirus death at that site on March 31.
The total number of Covid-19 at Dorset Healthcare Universities Trust since the start of the pandemic is 73 - with the last recorded coronavirus death at that site on March 14.
Death rates across the county have continued to fall since the rollout of the vaccination programme.
Figures show that 737 people have died of coronavirus in University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) since the start of the pandemic - with the last recorded death on May 3.
UHD incorporates the former Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals Trust, as well as Poole Hospital.
