POLICE searching for a man who went missing from a Weymouth holiday park are renewing a public appeal as concerns grow.
Robert Hillier, aged 47 and also known as Jamie, was reported missing from the Haven holiday park at Preston Road at 8.43pm on Saturday June 19.
There is currently a large police presence at the park as officers search the area.
Robert is described as white, five feet eight inches tall and of slim build with short greying hair.
He was last seen wearing a polo shirt with pink, grey, blue and white horizontal stripes, dark-coloured jeans and dark-coloured trainers with a white sole.
It is possible that he may have since changed into a grey T-shirt.
Police Inspector Matt Chutter, of Dorset Police, said: “We remain increasingly concerned for the welfare of Robert who left the holiday park suddenly and has not been seen or heard from since.
“There is currently a large police presence at the holiday park and in the surrounding area while officers carry out extensive searches to locate Robert.
“We do not know where Robert may have gone and we would therefore like to renew our appeal for anyone who has seen Robert, or a man matching the description given, to please urgently contact Dorset Police.
“Finally, I would ask residents in the vicinity to please check their gardens and outbuildings as it is possible Robert may have sought shelter in the local area.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Robert’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 19:657.
