A MAN has suffered 'serious injuries' in a crash on the A35.
A man has been seriously injured in a crash involving a lorry and a van on the A35 at 8.52am this morning.
Police, paramedics, the air ambulance and the fire service were all called to the scene. The road was closed to allow the vehicles to be recovered.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 8.52am of a two vehicle collision on the westbound carriageway of the A35 Puddletown bypass, near to the Troy Town junction.
"Officers have attended along with the ambulance service and road closures have been put in place as emergency services respond to the incident."
"The injured man was taken by road to Dorset County Hospital with injuries that were believed to be serious."
The road was reopened shortly before 1pm.
