I AM writing to you in support of the proposed development at Charminster.
Whilst one cannot doubt the importance of Wolfeton House as a historic monument one cannot see that it will be much affected by the proposed development nearby.

Rather we should be seeking to ensure that the houses to be built are of good quality, not too tightly packed and at a price that people who live here and draw their incomes locally will be able to afford them.
There are many areas of comparative deprivation in this low paid county: We should be seeking, as I understand they are trying to do in Cornwall, to retain our housing stock for those who want to live and work in the county.
