A FATHER with his family from Bognor Regis had his vehicle seized after being caught without a driving licence or insurance.
Police officers from Dorset Police No Excuse team were patrolling the Weymouth and Portland area to monitor a planned car meet on Saturday evening (June 5).
While on patrol, they stopped a driver who was driving with his wife and three children on Portland.
The motorist was questioned by officers and they discovered he had no driving licence or insurance. The vehicle seized by police officers and he was issued summons to attend court.
A spokesman for Dorset Police No Excuse said: “Naturally, not everyone we stopped had anything to do with the car meet.
“The driver of the vehicle below had visited the area from Bognor Regis with his wife and three children.
“He had no licence, nor any insurance! Vehicle seized and driver reported to court.”
