A TRAVEL firm has restarted a service between Weymouth and Dorchester to London.
National Express will now operate the 035 daily service, Monday to Sunday, between London and Weymouth via Dorchester and Bournemouth.
The service's restart from the Dorset destinations to the capital come after many journeys were temporarily stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A National Express spokesman said: "We’re excited to play our part in the UK public’s safe return to travel.
"We want to make coach travel more convenient and with even greater value in 2021."
This follows the launch of megabus’ M3 service between Dorchester and London. Partnering with Yellow Buses, there will be one journey a day between Weymouth, Dorchester and London, Thursday to Monday.
Mark Venables, megabus managing director, said: "The staycation summer is fast approaching and the south coast is a firm favourite for many of us.
"We're making day trips and longer stays to visit loved ones and tourist hotspots easier than before and at the same time - creating connections between the largest cities as well as airports."
